According to facebook, “City Council voted unanimously to approve the Lion’s Club 4th of July Parade with some changes to help allow for social distancing.” From what I’ve read, parade riders were asked not to throw candy or other hand-outs along the route.
The council also voted to allow the city’s annual 4th of July fireworks show to occur at Chisenhall Fields, but without the beloved Summer concert or concessions.
